Your QA team, part-time
A fractional QA team that works alongside yours
Senior QA inside your team without hiring: in planning, ticket refinement, testing, automation, and release decisions, for as many hours a week as you need. The same people every week, so they learn your product. Everything they do shows up in your dashboard.
Fits the Scale and Enterprise plans. From a few hours a week to a full-time QA team, agreed with you and adjustable as you grow.

QA before the code
Catch problems in the ticket, not in production.
When QA sits in planning and refinement, unclear requirements, missing edge cases, and untestable designs get caught before anyone writes code. That is the cheapest bug you will ever fix. The rest of the week goes to testing what ships and keeping the automation green.
Where we plug in
- Planning and ticket refinement
- Testing changed journeys before release
- Automation upkeep and the release decision
How we work
From the first call to a clear result.
- 01
Choose the touchpoints
We agree which meetings, tools, and releases QA joins, and how many hours a week.
- 02
Work as one team
Our QA team works in your tickets, your channels, and your release rhythm, and keeps the work visible in the dashboard.
- 03
Adjust the mix
Every few weeks we rebalance planning, testing, automation, and reporting against what is risky right now.
Results, evidence, and QA requests live in your Release Shield dashboard. Bugs go to Jira or Linear, updates to Slack, Teams, or email. See the dashboard

Common questions
Is this a full-time team?
Not by default. You get a share of a senior QA team, from a few hours a week upwards, the same people every week so the product knowledge stays. If you need more, we also provide a full-time QA team, without you hiring one.
Can it include automation and manual testing?
Yes. Most teams combine planning input, manual checks before releases, and automation upkeep. The mix is agreed and adjusted with you.
Is fractional QA the same as a QA consultant or a part-time QA engineer?
Close, with two differences. A consultant advises; we do the testing, automation, and release work ourselves. A part-time hire is one person; you get a share of a senior QA team, so a holiday or a sick day does not stop your QA.
How is this different from hiring a QA engineer?
No recruiting, no ramp-up on their own, no single point of failure. You get senior people from day one, backed by a team and a dashboard, and you can scale the hours up or down.
Is fractional QA a fit for a startup?
It is the usual starting point. A startup or scale-up shipping every week rarely has the budget or the workload for a full-time QA hire, but it has the release risk. A few senior hours a week in refinement, testing, and automation cover that, and the hours grow only when the product does.
