Maintained E2E coverage
Test automation that protects every release
We automate the user journeys your product depends on, run them in our own pipeline against your environments, and maintain them as the product changes. Every run lands in your Release Shield dashboard with reports, screenshots, and videos of what failed.
Included in every monthly plan, bigger scopes are quoted custom. Start with a free 2-week trial on your own product.

In your dashboard
Every run, every failure, all the evidence in one place.
Like everything in Release Shield, automation results show up in your dashboard: run status, counts, branch and commit, and for every failure the screenshots, video, and trace. One click turns a failed test into a Jira or Linear ticket, evidence attached.
What a failure gives you
- Screenshot and video of the failure, right in the dashboard
- A Jira or Linear ticket in one click, evidence attached
- A Slack, Teams, or email message when a run fails
How we work
From the first call to a clear result.
- 01
Map the risk
We agree which user journeys must never break: sign-up, checkout, the flows your revenue depends on.
- 02
Build and run
Our automation engineers write the tests with current tools in a dedicated repository and run them in our pipeline. Nothing to add to yours.
- 03
Keep it green
We maintain the tests as your product changes, so the suite stays trusted. When a failure needs a human, we investigate and tell you what it means.
Results, evidence, and QA requests live in your Release Shield dashboard. Bugs go to Jira or Linear, updates to Slack, Teams, or email. See the dashboard
Example automation scope
A checkout change before release
Three journeys around a pricing change, run on every push. Simulate a run and watch the results, the evidence, and the bug draft arrive.
Watch a test run
Press the button: a test drives a copy of your checkout, click by click, and you see how a result and its bug draft come back.
What you receive
- Maintained browser tests, run in our pipeline against your environments
- Every run in your dashboard: reports, screenshots, videos, and traces
- A ticket from any failed test, in Jira, Linear, or any tracker you use
What we need to start
- Access to the product and a test environment
- A short walkthrough of the critical user journeys
- Which environment to run against, and when: on a schedule, on a tag, or on every release
Common questions
Does automation replace manual testing?
No. Automation catches what must never break again. New behaviour, usability, and edge cases still need a person, which is what manual testing and bug hunting are for.
Do you automate every flow?
No. We pick by risk and value. A small suite that is green and trusted beats a big one nobody reads.
Which tools do you use for test automation?
The ones that fit your product. For most web apps that is a current browser automation framework such as Playwright; if your stack needs something else, we say so before we start. The tests run in our own pipeline against your environments, so you never have to add tooling to your repository.
Is this end-to-end testing or regression testing?
Both. The tests are end-to-end: they drive your product through the browser the way a user does, against a real environment. Run before every release, on a schedule, or on every push, they are your regression safety net. New behaviour still gets a person, which is what manual testing is for.
Will my team know when a run fails?
Yes. Connect Slack, Microsoft Teams, or email, and your team gets a message when a run fails and when it passes again, or after every run if you prefer. Each message links to the run in your dashboard.
Where do the tests run?
We set up a dedicated E2E repository for your product and run it the way you need: on a schedule, on a tag or release, on every push, against one or more environments and configurations. Best practice is staging or a demo/pre-release environment, but it can run anywhere. Results land in your dashboard, and over time you get access to the tests themselves.
